The person I’d like to talk about is Sunyang， he is a Chinese swimming star who has broken the latest world record in swimming at the World Championships in Shanghai. Sun was born in a sporting family in east Zhejiang province. His parents were once volleyball players.
The first time I knew him was when he won the gold medal in the men’s 1500-meter freestyle at the 14th FINA World Championships in Shanghai. I watched the TV rebroadcast， and I saw him celebrating this good news with boyish delight. Sunyang is the first Chinese male swimmer to win the gold medal and secures victory with an Olympic record.
