Some believe that those who are not talented in language learning should not be required to learn a foreign language. Do you think school should required students to learn a foreign language?（观点比较选择类题目）
观点一：没有天赋不用学外语
观点二：学校应该要求学生学外语
English has already become a global business worthies billions of dollars.
While a mushrooming number of schools are integrating foreign language learning as an compulsory component of their curriculum, some argue that only the gifted in language acquisition should be required to learn a second tongue.
This writing is going to compare the two interesting opinions and furthermore to express my own opinion.
It is not strange why many, if not all, educators embrace foreign language acquisition as a essential part of education.
Their first argument is that language learning can introduce students into an exciting exotic culture.
Since language is the carrier of culture beneath, therefore mastering a second language could better promote cultural understanding and hence students can indulge themselves in a different culture.
Without knowing a foreign language, one might not be able to appreciate the essence of cultural event overseas.
Using a foreign language,one could not only grasp a deeper understanding, but participating joyfully as well.
Better employment opportunity could be another reason why many are supporting languange learning as a compulsory part in school.
With language skills becoming an important column on resume, parents believe by mastering a foreign language their children can have a better change to find a job in the future.
In international trade business for example, almost all employees are required to be fluent in at least one foreign langauge.
For young students, thus, a second tongue could bring them a better chance.
These mentioined above could be the two major reasons why many support foreign language acquisition as an compulsory course for all students.
In spite of the fact that, mastering a foreign language can, indeed, bring students many benefits, to name but two, those who believe only the gifted should be compulsed also have their ground.
They believe that talent could be the source of motivation.
Due to the fact that motivation is the key in learning of all kinds, without talent students might feel frustrated and lose motivation in learing, consequently the lanaguage learning process could be time-wasting and exhausting.
Literatures in language learning have indicated that without motivation it could be extremely difficult to learn a foreign language.
This is why some believe, to save children from heavy burden of learning a foreign language, only the gifted children should be required to learn a foreign language.
To sum up, both opinions seem to have their solid ground.
Personally, I dare not agree either of the opinions.
Students, gifted or not, shall be encouraged and inspired, instead of being pressed, to learn a foreign language.
