An unusual job
I would like to describe an unusual job I have known, which is a greeting card writer. The first time I heard about this job was from the newspaper, China Daily. You know, it was very interesting that, according to the news report, there were companies encouraged their consumers to send their best wishes or submit their new ideas for greeting cards to them. So they could design a unique and original card for their consumers. Until now, there are many greeting card writers because almost everyone in modern society needs to buy a card in life, such as birthdays, newborns, graduations, Valentine’s Day and things like that. But people always have hectic work and life schedule, they don’t have time and energy to think about how to write a card that can leave a deep impression to the card receiver. Besides, this job can be easily done from home instead of a long time commute. Most importantly, writers just need to know how to express an appropriate massage in a few succinct words, it is quite simple but profitable. And I think that is the reason why there are many greeting card writers now. This is not a usual job we can image, but I think it is also the job with good prospect coz life always needs a bit difference.
Describe an unsatisfied product
I am going to describe the most unsatisfied product I bought online. Last week, I was so excited to receive my parcel of lapis bracelet which I ordered from the biggest online shopping mall in china. You know, I was attracted by the pure blue color and round and shinny beads from the online picture at my first glance, which made that item look pretty fantastic! However, when I unfolded the postal package, I felt so disappointed that my dream bracelet looked fake and poor in quality. It seemed like that they were plastic beads dyed with deep blue color. The beads were so small and dark as well as the color would fade under the sunlight. The real one contradicted with that in the picture. I wanted to complain this online shop and contacted the shop owner. However, she was reluctant to compensate or refund me. I felt so angry and gave bad comments to this shop. You might ask me how to deal with this bracelet? I would say that I will make full use of it, like wearing it as a usual clothes accessory. And I also draw a lesson from this unsatisfied product. We should take care of online commodity and the real product is reliable instead of deceiving pictures.
describe a kind of plant
I am going to describe my favorite jasmine flowers. It is well-known that jasmine flowers are native to tropical and subtropical regions of Asia, especially in China and Southeast Asia. Because of the delicate and white petals and its unique fragrance, jasmines are quite popular with Chinese women. They often wear the jasmine flowers in their hair as decoration. When I was young, my mother cultivated a large number of jasmine flowers. Flowering in jasmines take place in summer and release its fragrance at night. The buds are more fragrant than the flowers. Besides, jasmines are widely used for making tea. Especially, in summer, the buds were collected by my mother and she would make jasmine tea for the whole family. I can’t forget the taste of the jasmine tea that is a childhood memory. Now, I know that jasmines have a lot of other functions, like producing essential oil for medical therapy. All in all, I love jasmine, because my family love this plant so much and I can’t stop recalling my happy childhood time in the jasmine garden. This kind of plant means a lot to me.

The room I like best in my place is my own bedroom. You know, I lived with my family in a big house. Everyone has his own place, just like me, my bedroom is my private space and there is no invasion to it. I would say I am the queen of my realm. In the middle of my room, there is a big bed. And there is a lamp next to the bed. I have a large closet to put my clothes. I often put my books in the draws as well as snacks. The most fantastic thing in my bedroom is that I can surf the internet on the bed especially in the depth of winter, I feel so comfortable and cozy. There are big windows which can make me view the outside scenes over conveniently. You know, I am living in the top floor of the apartment, so I have the chance to view the whole city. Now, I can enjoy the snowy city in my warm place in such a cold winter night. My bedroom is my realm coz it helps me escape from the noisy outside world and get into my private life. That is the best place for me to get relax and wind down.
describe a person you want to communicate with or talk often
The person I want to communicate with is my father. He is medium height and always smiles to people. He is gentle and kind. Since I was born, my father devoted his whole life to take good care of me just like my mother. Compared with talking with my mother, I am always willing to communicate with my father. Coz my mother is strict to me, while my father is considerate and understanding. He is just like my friend. And I often talk openly to him, no lies and no cheat. Especially when I get troubles, I would turn to talk to him, maybe he can’t help me to solve the problem, and he can comfort me to release pressure. He is a good listener and never judge or criticize me, which makes me feel safe and talk to him freely. Now, I live far away from my family, I still keep in touch with my father. He is the person I want to talk often.
