雅思听力考试形式
第一部分为两人对话的形式，往往为一人询问另外一人问题，对话内容为日常生活中的场景，如租房、求职、买车、银行、旅游等。这一部分在考试中通常为十道填空，但有时候也会出现选择或者匹配的情况，不过次数很少。
第二部分为独白的形式，内容包括但不限于公司简介、旅游景点、产品介绍、节日推广等。这一部分的题型相对较为杂乱，通常会是选择和匹配相结合。同时每个月出的地图也会出现在这一部分。但偶尔也会有填空题。
第三部分为对话的形式。但区别于第一部分的是它会是2到4人的对话。不过现在出现4个人的情况已经很少了。三个人中通常一个为老师，声线较粗，听起来比较成熟；另外两个一男一女，声线年轻，分别饰演学生。这一部分的题型跟第二部分一样，通常为选择和匹配的结合。但偶尔会有填空，不会有地图。
第四部分为独白的形式，通常会模拟一段课堂内容，讲解一些完全陌生的知识，如城市景观设计、鲸鱼搁浅、公司犯罪、企业文化等。这一部分的题型通常为填空题，以大纲的形式出现。但有时候也会有选择（这种情况难度会更大一些）。匹配和地图几乎不会出现在这一部分。
雅思听力考试技巧
学会记笔记
平时练习雅思听力的时候，学会边听边记笔记。注意，这里的记笔记不等于听写，没有必要把每个词都写下来，只要把关键词写下来即可。
捉关键词
听力内容繁多，时间紧凑，想要面面俱到是不可能的，只有抓住核心关键信息来帮助我们解题。所谓的“关键信息”就是我们常说的6W，即：人物（who）、事件（what）、时间（when）、地点（where）、原因（why）、方式 （how）。必要的时候可能还需要程度（how long， how soon， how much）、数字（how many， how much）、选择（which）等。
熟悉英式思维
有些听力题考察的并不是材料中给出的具体信息，而是需要我们根据以往掌握的关于英美国家的一些常识来作答，比如英国人的绅士风度、美国人的个人主义等。这个时候我们就需要努力挖掘语言背后的英语思维模式和外国文化背景。
着眼于整体
一定要记住，不管听什么材料，要把注意力集中在理解整体内容上，个别单词或单句没有听懂的话马上放弃。这样才有可能听懂真正的关键信息。
体会言外之意
语言的主要功能是交际。所以理解听力材料的中心思想，猜测说话者的主要意图，揣摩一些细节传达的信息都对我们做题有很大帮助。
